DENTURES

Dentures are removable appliances that are custom made to your mouth to replace missing teeth. They may be made completely from acrylic (plastic) or be a mix of cast metal and plastic. They may replace some teeth (partial dentures) or all your teeth (full dentures). They are held in your mouth by the muscles of your lips and cheeks, suction from the roof of your mouth in the case of upper full dentures, metal clasps around teeth in the case of partial dentures or sometimes implants, especially for lower dentures.
